    ECO Meeting for Exeqs

    Leadership Conference
     Wednesday, January 20 from 8:30am -11am (miss period 1)
     Who signed up: Mark, Calin, Mandy, Esther, Milos, Linda, Kian, Tom, Catalina, Youssef, Joyce, Cosmina
     IF ANYONE WANTS TO SIGN UP EMAIL VAL ASAP (spaces are limited)

    COP15
     SGG & EL update ECO board on COP15
     Paper hearts: set up table in the main hall & teach people to make paper hearts & tell people of COP15 results

    School Ground Greening
     Prepare for spring planting & think of when to get donations for the garage sale
     Garage sale (around March)
     Community planting (around April)

    Waste Minimization
     Plan paperless challenge
     Waste audit info on ECO board
     Video of waste audio (Cosmina)
     Put new recycling signs up

    Earth Day/Earth Month Prep
     Park cleanups (Earl Bail & Bayview Park)
     Everyone make a list of events/activities for Earth Month & write a short description of each event (include: cost of activity, prizes, how many people needed to run, message it will send out to people, what it will promote)
     Ideas so far: pop can hockey, energy audit, recyclable wallets, sell plants, earth hour, guest speakers, operation green

    Sahil: Speak to teachers of Canadian Tire Money box at the teacher meeting


    Everyone email your GMs about helping out with recycling. If anyone needs a note to get out of class get note from Mrs. Millett-Grant.


    NEXT MEETING WILL BE IN 2 WEEKS. THIS WILL BE A GM MEETING SO ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY.
